A serviced fire extinguisher on its wall bracket, tag showing the last service date

For fire and life safety servicing firms

Every unit you service is on a clock.
The spreadsheet does not know that.

A 6-month extinguisher service that slipped in March stays slipped. Nothing goes red, nobody gets told, and you find out when the client asks for the certificate.

Built in Tobago, with a working fire and life safety firm. No card, no install, no sales call.

You already know which one it is.

None of that is a discipline problem. A spreadsheet has no way to warn anyone. It holds the last date you typed into it and then it sits there. That is the whole of it.

is a deadline engine.

It holds every unit you service, every cycle that unit carries, and the separate clock each of those cycles runs on. Then it tells you what is coming due, across every client, before it lapses.

Here it is.

This is a demo. The details fill in automatically so you can see the shape of it in two clicks. Nothing you do here is saved anywhere, and none of these clients, units or prices are real. In the live product you enter your own. Refresh the page and it goes back to the start.

What is due

One row per service cycle, not per unit. A unit with four cycles can appear four times, and should.

Front of house

What it takes off your week.

The reminder goes out before the date, not after.

An email lands while there is still time to put the visit in the diary. Nothing fires on a date nobody has confirmed, so what does arrive is worth reading.

Logging a service takes seconds.

Pick the unit, pick the cycle, pass or fail, save. The next date is computed from the interval. Nobody types a date twice and nobody carries one home in their head.

The register stays current because working it keeps it current.

The list of units is the same list the technician services from. There is no second copy to reconcile on a Friday.

A document an insurer will accept.

Print a client's history with the unit, the cycle, the date, the technician, the result, and the clause it was serviced against. A cited clause reads as work product. No spreadsheet does this.

Back of house

What you never have to think about.

The data is yours.

Your clients, your register, your history. Take it out whenever you want, in a format anything else can read.

Protected by redundant backups across independent locations.

Your records survive a lost laptop, a flood in the office, and the worst day the business has.

History cannot be rewritten.

A logged service keeps its date, its result and its price forever. Nothing is deleted, by anyone, including us.

We are taking a small number of firms first.

ember is being built alongside a servicing firm in Tobago, against their real book of work. It is not open to everyone yet. Join the waitlist and we will come back to you when there is a seat, with a date rather than a maybe.

It takes about a minute. We ask what you service and how many clients, and nothing else.
